We know many law students are reluctant to engage in social media. When asked why, students generally respond in one of three ways:
- I don’t have time.
- Bad stuff will happen.
- I’m just not interested.
Well…none of these are sufficiently good reasons to stay on the sidelines. Social media is one of the easiest and most useful ways to meet helpful people, stay up-to-date on what’s going on in the profession, and start spreading the word about how awesome and unique you are. (Because, really, you are.)

To help you get started, we’re putting together a series of “Social Media How-To” posts, designed to explain why different social media options might be useful and to help you get started and find great people to connect with. We’ll also have posts to help you figure out your personal goals and design a social media plan to help you accomplish those goals.
