Our flagship, on-demand Start Law School Right course can help you show up to law school ready to hit the ground running from day one!
Law School Tutoring
Law school is challenging because students get very little feedback throughout the semester, so it can be difficult to know if you’re on the right track. Imagine having a trusted resource to track your progress and answer questions … Our students find that working one-on-one with a tutor helps them feel confident going into final exams and ensures their results reflect all their hard work. We’ve helped law students around the country turn their law school grades around and find the success they expected (or to do well from day one, which is preferable).
On the Air
Join thousands of law students around the country each month who are listening to Alison and Lee (the Law School Toolbox founders) talk about about law school, the bar exam, legal careers, and life. Each week, we offer practical tips and advice on academic matters, careers, and more. You might not always agree with us, but we guarantee you won’t be bored listening!

Alison founded The Girl's Guide to Law School in 2009 and has been supporting law students and young lawyers ever since. Alison graduated from Columbia Law School, clerked for a federal District Court judge and also worked in BigLaw before starting The Girl's Guide to Law School and eventually the Law School Toolbox. Alison is featured regularly in a variety of publications and is a frequent speaker at law schools and conferences. When not working on the Law School Toolbox, Alison can be found traveling, studying Spanish, and making sauerkraut.
Lee has been helping people prepare for law school since 2009, working both inside and outside of law schools. Lee is passionate about demystifying the law school experience and helping students learn the skills necessary to be successful in law school and eventually on the bar exam. Lee graduated from the University of San Francisco School of Law and worked in BigLaw before making a move to teaching and tutoring. When not working on the Law School Toolbox, Lee can be found hanging out at farmer's markets (and trying to cook what she buys), traveling, and spending time with her family.
